Lee & Rassol Garner GNAC Weekly Honors

STANDISH, Maine – The first Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly accolades of the spring season have been released and a pair of Saint Joseph's College softball players have been honored.

Junior designated player Maizie Lee (Saco, Maine) and freshman catcher Bailey Rassol (Rehoboth, Mass.) have garnered GNAC Player and Rookie of the Week honors, respectively.

In the team's first game of the season – a 10-5 triumph over Bluffton on Sunday – Lee was 4-4 with two runs and an RBI. In two games this spring, the junior is hitting .833 (5-8) with two runs and an RBI.

Making her collegiate debut versus Bluffton on Sunday, Rassol was 3-4 with a run and four RBI. The freshman catcher is hitting .500 (3-6) with a run and four RBI in two contests this season.

Saint Joseph's (1-3) will play Aurora (11:00 AM) and Bluffton (1:15 PM) in the Sunkissed Games at Plant City, Florida tomorrow.
