Cote Named GNAC Rookie Swimmer of the Week
STANDISH, ME - Saint Joseph's College freshman swimmer Christine Cote (Biddeford, ME/Biddeford) has garnered GNAC Rookie of the Week honors for the first reporting period of the winter season.
Cote posted a pair of top finishes along with two runner-up performances in the opening weeks of the season for the Monks. The rookie swimmer had an excellent day against Regis on November 21st with wins in the 100-Free and 200-Free events and posted a second-place effort in the 50-Fly as well.
St. Joe's, 2-1 with wins over Husson and Regis, will participate in the GNAC Championship at Simmons College on December 5th and 6th with opening events slated to begin at 10:00 AM both days.
