Wojtkiewicz Named GNAC Rookie of the Week

STANDISH, ME - Saint Joseph's freshman Jamie Wojtkiewicz (Bedford, NH) has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Rookie Swimmer of the Week for the weekly reporting period ending January 18th.

Wojtkiewicz earned a victory with a 2:31.99 effort in the 200-IM and paced the Lady Monks with 17 points in a meet against the University of New England on January 13th. The freshman posted a second-place finish in the 500-Free (6:12.71) and swam a leg of the 400-Free Relay, which set a new program record with a 4:05.78 time.

Saint Joseph's will travel to Bangor, ME on Saturday, January 24th to compete against Husson University and Wheelock College. The meet is set to begin at 12:00 PM.
