The Saint Joseph's College Athletic Department announced Anna Gordon as the Women's Lacrosse Head Coach during the summer of 2009.

St. Joe's went 5-7 overall and 2-6 in GNAC play under Gordon's watch in 2011. Senior forward Alyssa Marchant became first SJC women's lacrosse player to reach the 200-goal plateau during the season and earned GNAC Offensive Player of the Year honors after leading the conference in goals per game (4.17) and shots per game (9.67).

Coach Gordon began her career as a head coach with a season that placed the SJC Women's Lacrosse team on the map in New England. The 2010 Monks went 10-4-1 overall and turned in a 7-1 GNAC record en route to gaining the #2 seed in the conference tournament. The Royal Blue posted a 10-game undefeated streak to start the season and stood as the only NCAA DIII program without a loss before suffering a hard-fought setback to NCAA Tournament participant University of Southern Maine on April 13th.

While working alongside Rupert Lewis as a Co-Head Coach during the 2008 and 2009 seasons, Gordon helped guide the Monks to a composite 11-16 record and a pair of Great Northeast Athletic Conference Tournament appearances. Gordon's leadership has helped pave the way for the program's success in it's early years as a varsity sport at Saint Joseph's, as Women's Lacrosse was added to the docket beginning with the spring season in 2008.

Gordon graduated with a BA in Spanish from Allegheny College, where she was a four-year starter as a member of the women's lacrosse team. As a senior, she helped guide the Gators to the best season in program history. Gordon played on the first-ever women's lacrosse team at Deering High School (Portland, ME), where she began participating in the sport as a freshman. She served as an Assistant Coach at Deering for one seasons prior to joining the coaching staff at St. Joe's.

Gordon also serves as the Senior Assistant Director of Admissions at Saint Joseph's College.
