Freeman Honored with Halftime Ceremony

STANDISH, ME - Saint Joseph's College senior guard Carolyn Freeman (Scarborough, ME/McAuley) was honored for reaching the 1,000-point milestone with a ceremony during the halftime of the Rivier game on Saturday afternoon.
Freeman received a plaque, which was presented by Saint Joseph's President Dr. Joseph Lee, for reaching the achievement.
She became the 19th SJC women's player to reach the plateau in a game against Skidmore College in the Coastal Maine Classic, hosted by Bowdoin College, on January 3rd. Freeman is the first player since 2004 (Abbie Rice '04) to hit the mark.
