Daigle Listed on MWBCA Honor Roll

STANDISH, ME - Saint Joseph's College forward Meghan Daigle '10 (Grantham, NH) has been listed on the Maine Women's Basketball Coaches Association Honor Roll for the second time this season.

In a 2-0 week for Saint Joseph's, Daigle averaged 17.5 points and 7.5 boards and posted her second career double-double with 22 points and 12 caroms in a win over Saint Joseph February 7th.

Daigle currently leads the Lady Monks with 13.7 points per game and ranks second on the squad with 5.5 rebounds per contest. Her 80% (92-115) conversion rate from the charity stripe leads the team and ranks fifth in the GNAC as well as sixth in Maine. With eight more free throws made, she will be the 14th player in SJC women's basketball history to hit 100 freebies in a season and the first since 2003 (Abbie Rice '04).

Saint Joseph's will play at Norwich University on Saturday, February 14th in a 3:00 PM GNAC contest, while Saint Joseph (CT) is set to host Suffolk University at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, February 10th.
