Geel Named to MWBCA Weekly Honor Roll

STANDISH, ME - Saint Joseph's freshman Ashley Geel (St. George, ME) has been named to the Maine Women's Basketball Coaches Association Weekly Honor Roll for the reporting period ending January 18th.

Geel collected her first collegiate double-double with 12 points and 12 boards in a win over Mount Ida on January 17th. The freshman currently ranks third on the team in scoring with 7.2 points per game and leads the team, and is third in the state, in blocks with 1.06 per contest.

Saint Joseph's will host GNAC opponent Albertus Magnus College on Saturday, January 24th at 1:00 PM while the Saints will host conference counterpart Suffolk University on Wednesday, January 21st at 7:30 PM.
