GNAC Selects Kluna as Pitcher of the Week

STANDISH, ME – Saint Joseph's junior pitcher Maddie Kluna (Standish, ME) has collected Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Softball Pitcher of the Week honors.

Kluna was 2-0 with a 0.50 ERA and 10 strikeouts in 14 innings last week and tossed a six-inning perfect game with four K's in a win over Lasell College on Friday.

Through 36 games for the 29-7 Monks, Kluna is 11-3 with a 2.16 ERA and 94 strikeouts in 84.1 innings pitched. She leads the team in wins, innings and K's this spring. The conference weekly honor is her second of the season and third of her career.

St. Joe's will play on the road in a twinbill versus Norwich University this afternoon at 3:00 PM.
