2010 ECAC Men's Cross Country Championship

BRISTOL, RI – Saint Joseph's senior Eric Friend (Portland, ME/Cheverus) placed 138th with a 28:56.44 effort in the 2010 ECAC Division III Cross Country Championship at Colt State Park on Saturday.

Friend was the lone Monks' runner to participate in the annual event, which was won by Franciscan sophomore Bill Jones with a time of 25:55.7.

Williams College captured the team title for the sixth consecutive year with 94 points, topping runner-up Middlebury College, which tallied 123 total points.

GNAC Champion Johnson & Wales, three individuals in the top four, finished third with 142 team points.
