GNAC Recognizes Prescott on Weekly Honor Roll

STANDISH, ME - Ryan Prescott '09 (Pittsfield, NH) has been named to the Great Northeast Athletic Weekly Honor Roll for the second time this fall.

Prescott won the Runnin' Monks Invitational, hosted by Saint Joseph's on October 11th, with a 27:41 time in the 8K event. The top-finish for the senior was his second of the season and marked the 17th consecutive event where he completed a race as the top St. Joe's runner, dating back to his sophomore season.

Along with the honor roll recognition, Prescott, the 2007 GNAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Year, has been named the GNAC Runner of the Week three times this year.

Saint Joseph's will travel to Cumberland, ME next Saturday to participate in the State of Maine Championships hosted by University of Southern Maine at the Twin Brooks Recreation Center. The start time for the men is 2:00 PM with the women to follow at 3:00 PM.
