Driscoll & Pasquarello Honor Roll Worthy

STANDISH, ME – St. Joe's men's lacrosse standouts Christopher Driscoll '13 (Saco, ME) and Benson Pasquarello '12 (Kennebunk, ME) have garnered Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Weekly Honor Roll mention.

Driscoll posted a 5.71 goals against average and a .677 save percentage in a 2-0 conference week for St. Joe's. The sophomore netminder was very busy for the Monks, outshot by a 52-35 margin, with a season-high 19 saves in a one-goal win over Becker College on Saturday.

In 14 starts and 708 minutes between the pipes this spring, Driscoll - a two-time honor roll selection this season - has posted an 8.04 goals against average and a .562 save percentage.

Pasquarello tallied seven goals and four assists for 11 total points in a pair of much-needed GNAC wins last week. The junior midi notched a career-high seven points with three goals and four assists in a win over Daniel Webster on Tuesday and added another hat-trick performance in an 11-10 triumph over Becker College on Saturday.

Pasquarello has tallied 19 goals and seven assists in 14 games this season for the Monks. The GNAC honor is the first of his career.

St. Joe's will host Norwich University in the Monks' 2011 GNAC regular-season finale on Saturday at 1:00 PM. The game will be played at Westerlea Way Field on the SJC campus.
