LeConte Named GNAC Golfer of the Week

STANDISH, ME - Saint Joseph's College senior golfer Andy LeConte (York, ME) has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week.

LeConte was the Monks' top finisher in the Bowdoin College Invitational, played at the Brunswick Golf Club on September 13th and 14th, with a two-round score of 165 (83, 82) to place 29th overall at the event.

Saint Joseph's will participate in two tournaments this week, starting with the Maine-Farmington Invitational at the Belgrade Lakes Golf Course on September 17th. The SJC golfers will also compete in the State of Maine Championship on September 19th and 20th, which will be played at the Natanis Golf Course in Vassalboro, ME.
