Field Hockey Honored for Academic Excellence

STANDISH, ME – The Saint Joseph's College Field Hockey team has received the 2010 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Collegiate National Academic Team Award, an honor given in recognition of academic excellence.

The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) presents the award to those institutions that achieve a minimum GPA of 3.0 during the first semester of the 2010-11 academic year. In all, 83 NCAA DIII programs earned the honor.

Fellow North Atlantic Conference institutions Castleton State, Lasell College, Rivier College were also honored.
