Monks Baseball Announces 2010 Captains

STANDISH, ME - Monks Baseball Head Coach Will Sanborn '86 has announced his team captains for the 2010 season.

Mike Burdin (Gardiner, ME), Pat Moran (Winterport, ME) and Craig Woodbrey (Gorham, ME) will share leadership responsibilities this coming spring as the Monks attempt to regain the GNAC Championship and return to the NCAA Regionals. Suffolk University defeated Saint Joseph's in the 2009 GNAC title game, snapping the Monks' four-year conference championship run.

St. Joe's, 31-13 overall and 13-1 in GNAC play last season, will kick off the 2010 campaign with a spring trip to Winter Haven, Florida March 7-13. The Monks' trip schedule is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
