Monks Climb Past Cadets, 79-65
NORTHFIELD, VT – Saint Joseph’s (15-6, 11-4 GNAC) defeated Norwich University (5-16, 4-11 GNAC), 79-65, in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) men’s basketball contest on Tuesday evening. Senior guard Chris Petzy (Kensington, N.H.) poured in 22 points and was 5-7 from three-point distance in the Monks’ victory.

Geel Scores 1,000th, Young Nets 25 in Win Over Pine Manor

STANDISH, ME - The annual Saint Joseph’s men’s soccer team awards banquet was held at the Sable Oaks Marriott in South Portland on Friday, January 27th. Seven honors were given to a total of six members of the 2011 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship side.

Women's Swimming Suffers Setback at Gordon College
WENHAM, MA – Gordon College defeated Saint Joseph’s, 118.5-109.5, in a women’s swim meet on Saturday afternoon. Freshman Mandy Avella (Londonderry, N.H.) earned top finishes in the 50-Breast (34.79, a new program record) and 100-IM (1:09.27) events and notched a runner-up time in the 50-Fly (31.05) in the loss.

Men's Swimming Defeats Gordon College, 141-80
WENHAM, MA – The Saint Joseph’s men’s swim team notched the program’s second victory with a 141-80 triumph over Gordon College on Saturday afternoon. Sophomore Adam Gaulin (Belfast, Maine) broke the program record in the 50-Breast (29.98) and participated in the team’s record 200-Medley relay effort in the triumph.
