Piers Sets Record at Beach to Beacon
STANDISH, ME - Sheri (McCarthy) Piers '93 (Falmouth, ME) was the top Maine finisher in the TD Banknorth Beach to Beacon 10K on August 1st. Her time of 34:17 broke the course record and marked the first time in the history of the race that a woman from Maine finished in the top 10. Piers was the 10th woman to cross the finish line and placed 70th overall.
